Our team aims not only to understand and implement client’s objectives but also to assist with engineering solutions and coordination of project’s various components.

Engineering
EMC understands that any project has both typical and atypical requirements and identifies all such issues during the planning stage to formulate a detailed project delivery mechanism including the scope of work, methodologies and necessary resources. Therefore, EMC can put forward the very best engineering solutions based on the experience acquired throughout the years.

Procurement
Most projects require specialized items that have long delivery times (long-lead items). Input for finalization of the specifications for these items is required in the early stages to comply with project schedules.
An approved vendor list needs to be agreed with the client so that RFQ’s may be issued to the approved vendors within the limitations of the schedule.
Consolidation of materials would not only provide cost savings but may also provide programme advantages.
EMC on a client-based model, assists in the procurement of materials, spares and inventory for the start-up, commissioning, and operational phases. Vendor generated manuals and drawings are managed in a Document Management System.

Project Management
Project Management for EMC means to have our team looking one step ahead to ensure that all stages of the project are implemented according to plan and, if not, that all corrective measures are taken as soon as deviations are identified.
EMC has a team of specialists for each discipline with enough experience to find solutions and take decisions on the spot whenever it is required. Specialists are also able to present proposals to overcome delays and bring projects back to track.

Site Supervision
Depending on project’s scope of work, EMC deploys a team to site to supervise the construction, installation and commissioning activities, to make sure that all aspects of the project and standards are applied and report the progress and all major aspects to client on a regular basis.

Quality Control & Quality Assurance (QA/QC)
EMC ensures all parts of the project comply with requirements by measuring the quality characteristics and comparing them with the established standards. In some cases, this process starts at suppliers’ factories to inspect products before they are handed over to client or are delivered to site.
Measurement and progress are certified independently by EMC for approval and payment by the Client.
